Biography : Adele

Adele Laurie Blue Adkins (born May 5, 1988) is a British singer-songwriter who has sold millions of albums worldwide and won a total of 15 Grammys as well as an Oscar. Adele’s first two albums, 19 and 21, earned her critical praise and a level of commercial success unsurpassed among her peers. After becoming a mom in 2012, Adele returned to the charts with the ballad "Hello" in 2015, the lead single from what was dubbed her comeback album 25. In 2017 she won five Grammys for her work on 25, including album, record and song of the year.

Adele began dating charity entrepreneur and Old etonian Simon Konecki in the summer of 2011.In June 2012, Adele announced that she and Konecki were expecting a baby.Their son Angelo was born on 19 October 2012.On the topic of becoming a parent, Adele observed that she "felt like I was truly living. I had a purpose, where before I didn't".Adele and Konecki brought a privacy case against a UK-based photo agency that published intrusive paparazzi images of their son taken during family outings in 2013.Lawyers working on their behalf accepted damages from the company in July 2014.

In early 2017, tabloids started speculating that Adele and Konecki had secretly married when they were spotted wearing matching rings on their ring fingers.During her acceptance speech at the 59th annual Grammy award for album of The Year, Adele confirmed their marriage by calling Konecki her husband when thanking him. She subsequently clarified her marital status in March 2017, telling the audience at a concert in Brisbane, Australia, "I'm married now". In March 2017, Adele and Konecki purchased a home in East Grinstead, West Sussex.

The Food Of Hell From Indonesia

Famous as one of the best tropical countries, Indonesia provides tons of uniqueness and excitement. Its nature, culture, and art always bring millions of tourist each year. However, this time we are going to talk about one thing, Indonesia’s cuisine, in particular Sambal.

Sambal or sambel is infamous among tourist as the food of hell for its undeniable ability to make the consumer produces tears and sweat when eating. Produced using chili as its main ingredient, sambal is indeed taste extremely spicy.

Sambal is made by grinding ‘cabai’ or chili, along with several complements such as onion, cherry,  tomato, ‘terasi’, sugar, and salt. Also the other ingredients such as shrimp paste, fish sauce, garlic, ginger, shallot, scallion, palm sugar, lime juice, and rice vinegar or other vinegars. The ingredients are grinded using traditional tool made usually from wood or plastic. The texture is smooth with a vibrant color of green and red, depending on which chili you use.

There are many kinds of Indonesian sambal such as Green Chili Sambal, Sambal Kecap (chili with sweet soya sauce), Sambal Terasi, Sambal Matah, Sambal Bajak, Sambal Rica, Sambal Dabu-Dabu, and the others.

Infamous among tourists for its spiciness, many tourists avoid it. However, some of them are challenged and try to eat it. Those who dare to try usually will get stomach ache or turn very red and sweaty in the face. Though super spicy, locals eat it in almost daily basis as their main meal.

There is sambal made from cherry, but it's not in Indonesia.

Indonesian Traditional sambals are usually made using traditional tools, such as a stone pestle and mortar.

Dolphin

Dolphins are a widely distributed and diverse group of aquatic mammals. 
Comparing species' relative intelligence is complicated by differences in sensory
apparatus, response modes, and nature of cognition.

Appearence 

• They have streamlined bodies and two limbs that are modified into flippers. Though not quite as flexible as seals, some dolphins can travel at 55.5 km/h.

• Dolphins range in size from the 1.7 m (5.6 ft) long and 50 kg  M to the 9.5 m (31 ft) and 10 t (11 short tons)

Fact

• Dolphins use their conical shaped teeth to capture fast moving prey.

• They have well-developed hearing which is adapted for both air and water and is so well developed that some can survive even if they are blind. 

• Some species are well adapted for diving to great depths. They have a layer of fat, or blubber under the skin to keep warm in the cold water.

• Sleeping dolphin in captivity: a tail kick reflex keeps the dolphin's blowhole above the water

Behavior

• Dolphins are highly social animals. Dolphins can, however, establish strong social bonds; they will stay with injured or ill individuals, even helping them to breathe by bringing them to the surface if needed.

• Dolphins communicate using a variety of clicks, whistle-like sounds and other vocalizations. Dolphins also use nonverbal communication by means of touch and posturing.

Habitat

Dolphins are widespread, most species prefer the warmer waters of the tropic zones, but some, like the  right whale dolphin, prefer colder climates. 

Feed
Dolphins feed largely on fish and squid, but a few, like the killer whale, feed on large mammals, like seals.

Reproduction
Dolphin copulation happens belly to belly; The gestation period varies with species; for the small Tucuxi dolphin, this period is around 11 to 12 months,while for the orca, the gestation period is around 17 months. Typically dolphins give birth to a single calf, which is, unlike most other mammals, born tail first in most cases. They usually become sexually active at a young age, even before reaching sexual maturity.

Eiffel Tower (Advertisement)

The Eiffel Tower was built in 1889 and served as the entrance to the World's Fair that year. It is an iron lattice tower named after Gustave Eiffel, the engineer whose company designed and built the Eiffel Tower. It's located in Paris on the Champ de Mars. It's not only Paris' tallest structure but of all the monuments in the world that charge a visitor's fee, it is the most visited.

Gathapraya 2017

Gathapraya means "hope for the future", and comes from two words in Sanskrit namely;



Anagata which means the future and Abhipraya which means hope. Themed "Cultural Acculturation", gathapraya comes with a fresh concept and certainly different from previous years.

Gathapraya aims to encourage people to participate in preserving traditional Indonesian culture in ways that are not traditional. Like the meaning of the name Gathapraya itself, we hope this event can appeal to the community to maintain the integrity of traditional culture of Indonesia as the nation's identity so as not to erode the times, and remain sustainable in the future.
